 I cannot believe that today is the middle of December. I feel like just a few weeks ago, I was forgetting that it was 2007. And now in just a few short weeks, we will be saying goodbye to the year 2007 and hello to a whole new year! My birthday is at the very end of December and I love it because Christmas is the best time of year!

      Well, the December birthstone is tanzanite or turquoise. Tanzanite was discovered in the late 1690s in Tanzania and is therefore fairly new on the gemstone market. It is found exclusively in this area of the world. This gemstone is treasured because of its rich color. It often appears to be a blue-lavender color. This stone has quickly become one of the most coveted stones in the world!
