I took the opportunity the other day to walk around the mall with my family, get a bite to eat, and just generally hang out together.  At the mall it was nice to see all the Easter stuff out.  There was even an Easter bunny where the little children could brave the moment and get their picture taken.  I for one particulary enjoy all the chocolate that can be found anywhere you look   While I certainly enjoy all the traditions with have here in the USA, and perhaps you have similar ones where you live, I take great comfort in knowing the true meaning of Easter: A day when Jesus Christ, the eternal God-man, rose from the dead in fullfillment of the scriptures.  Why is this such a “big deal”?  Because He paid the penalty for our sins in full and that all who believe in Him have eternal life.  You can place your faith in the one true and living God.  Believe in Jesus and have eternal life.  While seeing little children on the lap of some person dressed up as a living Easter bunny to get a picture is nice, knowing my living Savior has His arms around me everyday is true peace…I hope you can picture that   Happy Easter.
